Older Pets

Special Care and Attention to your old friend offers a better quality of life.

Old pets play an important part in our families. Unfortunately, pets age more quickly than humans, so require regular check-ups to ensure that health problems are recognized before they become life threatening.

Pets age at seven times the rate of humans, and we certainly wouldn't make Grandma wait seven years between check-ups.

Signs your pet needs a check up?

  • Change in weight
  • Increase in thirst
  • Bad breath
  • Change in appetite
  • Poor coat condition
  • Incontinence
  • Stiffness or slowness
  • Sleeping a lot
  • Altered personality or behaviour
  • Coughing, puffing or panting
  • Any lumps or bumps
  • Changes in bowel movements
