Murray Pringle B.V.Sc., M.A.C.V.Sc. (Surgery)

Murray graduated from Massey University in 1976 and started his veterinary career in a busy Christchurch small animal clinic.

He spent two years as a surgery intern at the Melbourne University Veterinary School where he undertook advanced surgical training and achieved his postgraduate membership of the Australian College of Veterinary Scientists in Canine Surgery. Murray was an examiner for this college for 8 years.

Returning from Melbourne he continued in small animal practice with Barbara and David Marshall where his area of interest was all aspects of surgery.

Murray is now a full time veterinary surgeon at the Kaiapoi clinic with Barbara where between them they offer almost 50 years of small animal experience with expertise in surgery and medicine.

Murrays other interests include music (guitars in particular), small block farming of cattle, classic cars and photography.

Barbara Pringle B.V.Sc. (Distn), M.A.C.V.Sc. (Canine Medicine)

Barbara graduated in 1976 with her Bachelor of Veterinary Science with Distinction from Massey University. She began clinical practice in Christchurch in a large and busy small animal practice.

She spent 1979 & 1980 in Melbourne as an intern at the Melbourne University Veterinary School, then returned to Christchurch to continue in a small animal practice with Murray Pringle and David Marshall.

Barbara has a special interest in diseases of the skin, and canine and feline medicine. She has passed postgraduate examinations to become a Member of the Australian College of Veterinary Scientists and was an examiner for this college in canine medicine for five years.

Her other interests include riding and showing English Riding Ponies, gardening, looking after their small farm near Kaiapoi, and classic cars.
